Beaufort Embryo Transfer Centre
Congratulations to the mare Paulank Brockagh ridden by Sam Griffiths, winner of the Embryo Transfer Prize at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials 2014.
Beaufort Embryo Transfer, situated in the Cotswolds, is now the established leader in the field of UK equine embryo transfer. This highly successful equine reproduction centre is run by equine vet Emma Tomlinson. Beaufort Embryo Transfer was established in 2002, with invaluable help for over a decade from the world's top embryo transfer vet Fernando Riera, and boasts high success rates, a large recipient herd and unrivalled facilities.
Beaufort Embryo Transfer is a DEFRA Approved Semen Collection and Freezing centre as well as the UK's first DEFRA Approved Embryo Collection and Freezing centre.
Breed from your mare while she is still competing!
As well as embryo transfer we offer artificial insemination with frozen, chilled and fresh semen; semen collection; stallion training; individually tailored livery for stallions and mares (with or without a foal at foot); reproductive help with problem mares and a transfer service for transported chilled embryos.
In 2011, Beaufort Embryo Transfer moved into the brand new purpose-built facilities at Elmleaze near Westonbirt, Gloucestershire. This is Europe's largest and most up to date Embryo Transfer Centre with a full team of specialist vets, stallion handlers and other, all-important, equine staff.
